Yay! It does work!
First off, your horses are really pretty! I love the different colors for the different horses. As far as your legs, they have slipped kind of far forward. This isn't really a bad thing unless you plan on showing equitation. In general you should have a "line" connecting from your ear through your shoulder and hip to your heel. All in all, I don't think you look bad. A few minor equitation changes can improve your presentation and help your showing overall.

the only think i see wrong about your leg position is in some of the pics your toes need to be pointed forward :-) and thats all i could tell from the pics but you have some pretty horses!!! but i would shave the forlocks off...but thats just me!

That's funny, I thought the same thing about the forelocks, I just didn't say anything. I like a little tiny forelock on a TWH and absolutely none on an ASB.

WAIT! Before we turn this conversation into a forelock discussion, make sure everyone still comments on the legs! Lol!

I agree with both posters. You need to move your leg back and roll your leg so that the inside of youur knee is on the saddle. Something that helps with legs is riding in "jockey" postion. Just while your walking around start lifting your butt out of the saddle and bending at your hips. Try not to use hands or arms to keep balance. At first it will be impossible to not use hands, but just keep trying. Then when comfortable increase speeds.
good luck!!

Yes, it does hurt, but it really does help a lot. The more it burns, the better your legs will become. Ahh, the pain we go through to be great riders. It's worth it.

reality: i love love love riding in "jockey" position! lol, im such an oddball, but i especially love doing that at the canter, probably cuz i've gotten pretty good at it so im like look at me go, i can do this longer than you guys can (to the people in my group lesson). lol
just commenting on the forelock bit, i like forelocks on some horses, but i think it can look very sloppy, Bella has a little tiny forelock and i like it like that b/c its small enough so it can be tucked behind her bridle and u cant tell its there when shes being ridden but then when i just see her in her stall she looks more...idk normal i guess lol

O WAIT WAIT WAIT, lol i forgot my comments about ur legs! i did notice that ur leg had slipped forward, a lot of the pictures were dark, but i noticed it the most on that legs on pride one. it looks kinda like ur using ur legs to brace urself in an effort to keep the rest of you from moving and to try and keep urself back, but really if u just trust urself to keep ur legs in the proper position ( u should be sore after if ur really trying for good eq.) then the rest of ur position should be easier to mantain.....lol maybe i know this because i used to do the same thing............

i agree with gracie now that i think about it (about the legs)
the jocky thing hurts real bad and im really bad at it but i have okay equitation without doing it...good enough where i can place in the top 5 so i wont worry about it :-D

okkkkkkk so your legs are pushed forward..but I hear its a common problem and I do it sometimes myself..Ok anyways your toes are sticking out. Your knees need to have alittle more bend in them but as soon as you pull them back they shooud..so yep
