hmm i think my greatest memory would be my first blue ribbon at a regular show. that was with nate. that ride was probably the best he's ever been. you know how sometimes when your riding you just get into like i don't know how to explain it, but you're not paying attention to anything around you but that? i was definitely like that. there was a guy playing an organ over in the background in the corner, and i don't even remember hearing it during my class. so yeah. that's probably it ;D

my greatest memory from this season would have to be my wins at Twin State. i really feel like that was mine and Kappy's best show this season.

Mine was winning the Year End Overall High Point Grand Championship in 4H for Saddleseat with a three year old Rocky Mountain Horse! Lol, I kicked all the ASBs butts!! I didn't really get to show much this year, so that's the only year end award I got.

this show season was really great especially since it was my first season out of academy, but the highlight was definitely getting to show my own horse at the stable show yesterday (i kno it sounds trivial b/c its just a stable show but shes never shown before). she was so good... she won the championship class at the stable and the class involved a pattern and dropping our stirrups. she was such a good girl for both of those things and didnt mind at all being in front of all the ppl. everyone was commenting on how beautiful she is and saying stuff like yeah that horse knows shes cute (yeah my baby definitely was made to be a show horse lol). she was so tired and confused by all of it but i kno we've come a long way since i got her b/c she really trusts me now and listens.
for those of u who dont kno...since i havent been on the boards a lot...my horse is bella and shes four. i've had her since may and we're been working on training her since shes smart and picks up on things fast but just hadnt gotten the chance to do much. lol the whole parking out deal is starting to click for her and she wore a double for one of the first times over the weekend. baby steps, but we're getting there.

This isn't from this show season but I was going to my first 'big' class and it was a whole new experience, Hank got all fancy..it was amazing (yeah I know I'm a dork) And this year I think all my shows have helped me so much, none of them completly perfect (ok well a few were close.) From 1sts to not placing(stupid pattern I wasn't ready for you ) I think I learned a lot from it all. Wow I went like way off topic there.

Mine isn't a first but it was a great accomplishment. I took my new horse to our first show of the season (his second in like 3 years gap, and I had been out for 4 years) He is a LAZY horse and I have a hard time keeping him cantering. We were having trouble in the first class, huntseat eq 18+ I was late, then a little better in the 18+ pleasure we cantered half the time, and then in the open with pros and all, we got 6th place, The judge even commented on how much potetila we had and to keep it up ( they always talk to me). And this guy was so mad I beat him and the look on his face was priceless. Things got better after that and it 's not the best placement, but it's still my favorite b/c it was such a milestone.
