congrats to all of ya. I went to 7 shows this year. Unfortunetly academy isnt that big in the north. as for ribbons, i came home with 15. i cant complain, i always placed and my lowest placing was 5th.
as for winter, we pulled kappy's show shoes and put egg bar shoes on him. his feet were making progress but they still arent 100% healed. so hopefully soon, we'll start double bridle training him, cause I really want out of academy. but ive decided i wont move up until kappy is ready.

I went to my last show and i think the judge was messed up in the head.she placed a TRAIL PLEASURE horse in FLATSHOD! and she always placed the lowest stepping horse. After the show i asked her what was wrong and she saifd my PARK PLEASURE horse was doin to much for FLATSHOD and flatshod is more that parkpleasure in Racking.(i just showed my PP horse in FS b/c they had no PP class.)but in racking after flatsd come padded and she suggested that i show him there and i said hes not padded and she was like oh....! OMG

WOW everyone did so well. Congrats!! I didn't get to go to many, short season in the north, and when I went to open shows they wouldn't place me b/c they all like those pokey QH, UGH. I got like 10 ribbons outta 6 shows, so I guesss it wasn't bad, but there is no competiotion in saddleseat (especially at academy like kk said). It feels like a false win.

ya exactly..there is no competition in academy for me. my trainer said im basically dominating it, and that I need to move up. but I only go to shows in NH..and theres not that many saddleseat one. theres like NH horse and trail, twin state, greater manchester, and pony owners. but oh well, I still love the thrill of competion and the ring.
