I made it to states on my twh. and i need tip on eqution and gromming to prep him to be ready and in the show ring tips anyone dena

check list that i go from (it might help you) -ribbons in mane -feet blacked -clean his nose with a clean rag -mane and tail brushed out -go over body with soft brush -white socks really white when you wash them take some show sheen and dump on them it make it 10 times easer to keep them white -saddle and bridle clean -clean all the green gunk off your bit -clean girth -show clothes clean -boots shiny i know in a show it was tuff the judge came down to how clean your boots and the bottoms of your boots were -hair pinned in a hair net -durby hat i think it looks better when you show in one

Those are good tips, Theres tons of tips in the pictures section on equatation, but as far as grooming goes: -Clean your stirrups,make em shiny -Bring a lint roller and clean off your coat and derby before you show -Put together a kit to take down to the ring with you with safety pins,brushes,towels and other things you may need. -You can use Shout wipes on tough stains on white spots..it really works! -If your horse has clips, you can use a silver paint pen to make them looks clean and shiny after you do polish. -Bathe your horse a day before the show so that some of his skins oils return,a freshly washed coat can sometimes look dull -Put socks over your horses feet if you have to walk very far to the ring, it will keep the polsih from becoming dusty,and i do it for Chi,because he has tender feet,just remeber to take them off!
