I want to start driving my Saddlebred again. He's been driven and all of that, but I was wondering if anyone knew whast kind of cart I needed to buy? He's not a fine harness horse, so I don't need a fine harness buggy. I was thinking the: www.ehorseequipment.com/detail.asp?id=1318But would that be ok to show in? And also are there certain harnesses to go with certain carts? Thanks! & Where would be the cheapest place to get all of this stuff? I would do used, but I don't know the name of what I'm looking for!

You probably need a pleasure driving cart. You can get the shafts to be a certain length to fit the horse. normally ponies are 88" if im not mistaken and horses are 96" (I think) The best place to find cheap Carts/Harnesses is www.trot.org and go under the tack exchange or call around to Wayne Hackney Or Charlie Byron. They know people and I bought my 2 pony carts from wayne. If you need his # just send me an email or something. Hope this helps!
