A big help would maybe even if you knew of a cheap saddle i could buy OOO.. alomst fergot another detail... bridles, i just use a basic western nylon bridle w/ a tom thumb bit (barrel racing), so what kind of bridle do i need to get, lol im askin a lot here, but i really wanna get into it. Your in Luck Abby, i happen the be the biggest cheapskate ever... SO, i got my cutback saddle for less than 250 including stirrup leathers! I will include the links later in my post. Also your going to need a bridle...but lol i bought a cheap one of those too,and also im not definate on the whole bit thing, but ive never encountered someone even checking a bit,but check around with the circuit you want to show. OK the saddle may be cheap but it hasnt given me any trouble and it looks nice-(people always say to get quality, but as i said my first saddle was 80 bucks and i still have it Heres the link- www.showstoppertack.com/Display.asp?ID=3445OK as for stirrup leathers, I bought VERY cheap synthetic, and it matches perfectly, i dont have to clean it and its stronger than leather - www.showstoppertack.com/Display.asp?ID=3877 another plus is you dont have to worry about your leathers streatching and being uneven Stirrup Irons- I would suggest you get them somewhere in your area, just plan english irons, itll prob be cheaper Pad-you dont show with pads, but showstopper has pads you can buy to school in and stuff like that (i just school in a western pad) Bridle- www.showstoppertack.com/Display.asp?ID=3920 it matches the saddle perfectly (i have blac btw) and has very soft leather and also has VERY easy buckles and no annoying I hooks, so i LOVE it Bit- youd have to buy it sepratley, but i think you could porbably use the buit you use now, atleast at lower shows you could..comes with reins your good to go Girth- www.showstoppertack.com/Display.asp?ID=3346 love the girth cuz you can just wipe it off with a sponge (WWU had these and they were great) Browband-If you really wanna jump into english why not express Prides personality with a lovely SS browband- theres a variety of cheap ones and expensive ones and ALSO they have braiding ribbon (i use clip ins and you can buy cheap ribbon at a craft store), i bought the royal blue straight browband that has the sterling silver edge (its reeeally nice) Suit-If your going to start showing, thought id reccomend the suit i got,it was cheap, but good qauilty,i was really happy with it www.showstoppertack.com/Display.asp?ID=2971(if you get the suit, dont forget the derby either lol!) So there you have it lol,the cheapest things i atleats have been able to find, and i can guarentee everything there is very good quality, also the people are freindly and very helpful.. I think ive gone on long enough..msg if you need anything else lol

haha emily your hilarious...hahahaha well for actually walking horse bits you do NOT want to use a tomb thumb..here are some walking horse bits. www.ehorseequipment.com/dept.asp?id=181this one is the most comonly used.. www.ehorseequipment.com/detail.asp?id=5315 with the chain mouth peice..but you could get the tomb thumb like mouth peice..I use this bit with my walking horses and they all love it but if your horse noses or anything i reccommind double twisted wire because it will make him resist (just dont get into his mouth)

I would recomand a walking horse bit its cheap and its not a harsh as the bit she is showin that is what i use but that is up to you i dont really like twisted wire bits... ive talked to alot of people and if you dont know how to use them you can make your horse hard in the mouth here is just your basic walking horse bit... the less harsh the bit is the longer the shanks are and you know about ports right?? www.nationalbridle.com/Shopping/category.asp?catalog_name=nationalbridle&category_name=134&page=6its the 5th ones down their are several you can chose from and you can change the shanks and ports to what you want in your horse mouth
