What is the difference between the shoes of an ASB that have bands and the ones that have spikes? Does this determine the classes they are shown in?

Like the triangular part of metal on the front shoe, similar to a clip, but it is really steep and pointy.

oh its called a V clip...it KINDA determines the class they show in...they cant have bands in pleasure but they can have V clips. in performance classes it doesnt matter what they have..they dont even have to have anything!! the only purpose that they serve is to hold the shoe on.

omg i feel really stupid i dont get what u guys mean by a spike or a band, does anyone have any pictures so i could see? i should know what you guys mean since bella's shoes are so involved...

i cant find a pictures...bands are the aluminium that straps across the hoff and V clips are the little upside down V's that are on the toe of the hoof

The image I posted before is a breyer model. These are V clips on shoes with no hoof attached, the picture is a little blurry.

We have a big breyer collection and some of ours have those little shoes and pads, even the TWHs! We aren't anal about our models, they come out of the box (unless they are really valuable)!

No, they don't nail them on, Lol! Breyer models are made of a plastic and it would crack. They glue the pad and shoe on.
