i dunno, i dont think losing blood would be NEARLY as painful as being sored,losing blood would make you sleepy and dizzy and for sure uncomfortable,but thats nothing compared to the pain a sored horse endures

apparently u arent familiar w/ AQH i have a barrel horse and i take him 2 runnin shows and they have WP horses there and its awful...i mean u cant really replace blood.and its bad in the TB business also..the SHOCK their legs...soring doesnt hurt that bad

the shock in a TB legs is called pin fireing it deadins the nerves in the horses legs so they cant shock of a hurt leg or minor injuries during a race

I WONDER WHAT YOUR HORSE WOULD SAY ABOUT SORING? I THINK PADS ARE CRUEL, BUT IF YOU WORK YOUR WAY INTO THEM, I GUESS THEY ARE BETTER THAN PORING CHEMICALS ON YOUR HORSES FEET. HAVE YOU EVER SEE AN OLD HORSE WITH NASTY SCARS?

i think its all mean...but soring isnt as bad as the quarter horses..walking horses can still function

Umm xcuse me GLORYGIRL but my CP horse has scars on his bacl legs a good many of them..he has 1 scar on each front knee.i still get thru DQP b/c its not where they chaeck..but my CP horse is a hell of a good horse and he has NEVER been sored i have MET his last 3 owners and they tried but they couldnt b/c he would bleed put sorin is wrong...not PADS

and glorygirl?how do u know the scars were caused from soring? ? i had a horse that scared BOTH her front feet up REAL bad b/c she kept stickin her front feet thru the barbed wire fence.we sold her 2 my friend..for a broodmare

I think we should just agree any abuse is wrong..and that its pretty pointless to argue which is worse..beacause does it really matter? Its all awful..and the horses suffer in the end from any abuse...
