I think you CAN....but it would probably look pretty tacky...maybe you could find a red and purple brownband? Im not sure...youd have to be acreful not to do anything TOO loud..unless thats what your into ...

purple and red..im not sure how good that would look. I definetly wouldnt recommend it. Im such a traditionalist that I have to have a red (maroon) browband with a red forelock braid.

i personally think that the forelock braids look stupid... but i still use them haha because its tradition.. and umm im pretty sure that red and purple do NOT go together.. im not color cordinated but wow.. red.. purple??? thats kinda... not even close to matching and it doesnt go good together at all really... but you ned to get either a red browband or burgundy/maroon if you are going to show in the saddlebred industry because thats the rules basically.. NO ONE doesnt use other colors then either red burgundy or maroon.. and they always use the same color ribbons as browband
