if ur talking saddlebreds, the a cp horse shouldnt have a trot that goes above level and sould have an even canter that isnt excessively fast. the head set should also be one that allows the horse to move the best and they should take steps that are ground covering. a flat walk is also very important. hope i could help!

LOL *sigh* so have i, so have i
there was one show where Angel refused to go anywhere, we went in the class and seriously she could have passed for a trail horse. it was awful, and then id kick her on and do anything that i could and shed either stop or start backing up, i was sooo mad! i dont know what her deal was, but anyway, it was funny b/c the rest of the class was crazy and ppl were laughing b/c the other horses were lapping us so many times. all turned out well tho b/c when i got out of that class i totally went after her in the warm up ring and got her moving, we had quite the warm up lol.

I have a horse that does that for the first class he is ridden in every show. We have to put him in an extra class so that he will be performing by the time his real classes come.

He is a goofy horse! I think we are going to sell him though because it becomes a pain in the butt to have to enter extra classes!

yeah if he was mine then he would have already been sold and the shows that we go to you dont want to just enter them in an extra class cause they are all pretty big shows...
