he is a pretty horse but i dont think that he would make a good saddleseat horse i think that he would make a nicer huntseat horse.... he dosnt really have the conformation to be a saddleseat horse his hind end is up higer than his front end if that makes sents... the rider needs to grip and ride from her knees and not her feet also she needs to point her toes straight not outward.. i dont know if it is just the pic or what but her hands need to say even. its kinda hard to tell but it looks like the horse is kinda gaiting in the back and troting in the front.. im not much on saddlebreds but thats what i think correct me guys if im wrong...

Aww I think he is very cute! He would make a cute hunseat horse, but I guess I don't see why he wouldn't make a cute saddleseat horse either. I can't really citique, I'm not very good at that stuff but I personally think he is a very cute saddleseat horse.

I disagree with you cowboy, he may not be THE flashiest..but he look stylish and pleasurable..so why not country pleasure? I think he would make a fine CP horse!! I actualy really like the way he goes...Anyway, rider, the knees need to now stick out..so GRIP and try to roll your leg out and point your toes forwards...Act like your showing the middle of the ring the sole of your foot(do u get what im saying?) Otherwise, the picture is pretty, It looks the the rider is getting the horse to preform pretty well...He could be a bit less heavy on the front...like be more level across the back and higher in the front...but like i said I think he looks good
Im not really a saddlebred peson either...we need laura or ashley in here..somebody that rdies ASBs

first off..very pretty horse! he has good action, and a decent headset. he probably could make it in saddleseat in a lower rated shows..or local ones. also with his headseat..it depends on what the judge likes, because some prefer the "dumped-over" look kinda like your horse has, and some prefer the head up and nose out (a lil..very lil bit) some of the morgans that i have seen have that dumped over look and they place in saddleseat shows. but like i said it all depends on the judge. also what cowboy said about him being higher in the back then in the front..is true..or atleast from the pictures. so 1 possible way to fix that is with corrective shoeing. as for the riders form, if you look at the pictures her heals are digging into the horse, which you dont want in saddleseat. you are supposed to grip with your knee and keep your lower leg off the horse. so i would have her try rolling on her knees more, and push her heels down and away. her feet should be like parallel with the horse's body. also in the cantering picture, her hands our down, and she is leaning forward. she needs to sit back, open up her chest, pull her shoulders back, and raise her hands a lil. (this isnt huntseat) and she also needs to keep her hands at the same level, as one another. she also needs to look up.
i hope i helped!! sorry if i was over critical.

He is very lovely. Is he a National Show Horse? He looks very saddlebred-y. If you know what I mean. But I think he is more of a country pleasure horse. He looks like a pleasure to ride. Where do you show? Your costume is great, I love the color!
