i dont mind cleaning them BUT these have that chalky leather preservative stuff all over them from the place that sent them and as it turns out its not as easy to get off as one might think.....i thought it had come off and then the leather dried and a lot of it was still there so i wont back at it untill finally i was like u know what i will clean them again when im back from WWU lol

I don't like cleaning new bridles with lots of "bloom" as some call the chalky stuff. It's a big pain in the butt! When you think it's gone, there is a lot more! Good luck with the bridles, Lol!

haha i dont clean new bridles...i just dip them in neatsfoot oil and it comes off then.

Yuck, I hate Neatsfoot oil. It makes such a mess and it is so oily. I hate when I have to use it, I'll take leather conditioner anyday, Lol!

It works okay, I guess. I have this conditioner compund that works really nice and it's not all slimy like Neatsfoot oil, Lol.

lol the slimyness doesnt bother me...we have this compound right nowm thats like 80% neatsfoot oil

I just can't stand that slimy slippery feeling on my fingers. I wash my hands for fifteen minutes after touching it because it's icky, Lol. That's why I like to use the Duratech tack, no oiling involved!

Be careful with neatsfoot oil as it will weaken stitching. Especially the concentrate stuff.

I like to use this compund with a neatsfoot oil formula in it so the stiching won't weaken. We normally use neatsfoot oil for really dry tack, or stuff that we don't use much.

i use lots of the neatsfoot oil because i like floppy and soft tack!!! ive never had a problem with stitching coming out tho.

I don't like when the leather is so soft that it stretches and feels weak. I like the way really expensive leather feels and smells too, Lol!

lol! well expensive tack will last longer if you oil it!! thats what i do..i have pretty expensive tack im just in the process into getting me a shively
