really cute horse...i have a couple of questions tho that i feel stupid for asking b/c i should know this stuff from the intro section of this board but anyway.... 1 is that academy? 2 if that is academy, then is that actually ur horse b/c i thought u couldnt show ur horse in academy? and thirdly (lol) whats the registered name of the horse u were riding? (he looks familiar and i was just curious)

1) is that academy? Yup it is. im not sure yet if im completely ready for full suit. so im starting my season out in academy.
2) if that is academy, then is that actually ur horse? yup again..that is my horse. well i dont know all the rules but my trainer lets me show him and she knows shows like the back of her hand.
3) whats the registered name of the horse u were riding? His registered name is Kappa Kappa Magic

lol sorry im so nosey and all, good to know tho. good luck with ur show season, in my opinion academy is definitely the best way to start out before just jumping into suit classes. i know, at least for my shows, an academy horse is sposed to strictly be a lesson horse, but theres probly some kind of loop hole since it sounds like you take lessons on ur horse. besides that, in academy having all lesson horses in the class rarely happens, what really bothers me is when i see a nice show pleasure horse in the academy ring lol but im just bitter from my days as an academy rider i guess.

its alright, i dont mind. i get this all the time. like when i went down the finals, people kept saying that my horse wasnt an academy horse and that it wasnt fair. but in reality my horse is. yeah he can be flashy like the higher horses, but he is used to teach lessons.

yeah...well in academy its only suppose to be judged on the rider and how the rider controlls the horse not on the horses performance...so i dont think it matters wether you got a nice show horse in the ring or not...at my old barn all that there were was nice show horses but thats what the kids took lessons on so thats why they showed them in academy...

well i dont mean just like nice show horses, a lot of times at my shows, these riders will go in on horses that are just too much for them (like their parents nice show horses or something) and the rider is just being pulled around the ring but the horse knows what he's doing so he looks perfect. a lot of the judges that we have dont kno how to judge academy and judge it like a suit class so these horses end up winning. i'm not saying at all that u shouldnt have nice horses in academy saddlebredchick08, i should have been more specific.
kkmhorselova: in the pictures ur horse looks like a perfect academy horse, especially because you can sit on him so nicely and control him and all. its so cool that ur horse can be a big show horse and then still give lessons.... yep yep definitely sounds liek a good combo for academy...when i said that i hated when ppl bring show pleasure horses into academy, i wasnt referring to u and i hope it didnt come out that way!

i see what you are saying gracie and i agree...if you can not handle your horse then you dont need to show it period. wether its in academy or a suit class!
