Hey I was just wondering if anyone on here had been to the UPHA Morgan Challenge Cup finals. I might get to go this year with one of our school horses and I was wondering what it was like. Thanks! ;D

I think of Morgans as kind of mini ASBs with not as much attitude, Lol!

prairie state is an A morgan show (as well as a b ASB show) so i always watch the morgan classes and they can have a lot of attitude too. i think they're really pretty and would be my second choice if i didnt have an asb, but no im not going to that show. Emily~ at WWU they have morgans

The Morgan I might get to show is from WWU. That is the only reason we have him, but I am very grateful!

i disagree the Morgans i have ridden have PLENTY of Persaonlity and are always pumped. In fact the Morgan i am hoping to show has the most attitude ive ever seen! he gets extremely restless at shows when. maybe its just my horses? hmm who knows!

no i agree, its not just your horses, at the nice morga shows that i've been to, the morgans have attitude just like the other saddleseat horses. i think it depends too b/c there are some moregans that are very stocky and appear to be better suited for western so i think that they're generally more laid back and then there are morgans that really remind me of asbs and i would love to have one of those....idk tho this is just my opinion.

As with any breed, there are always exceptions. Some Morgans have more attitude than others, and some are suited for Saddleseat while some would just make us laugh.

We call him Jazz, I will try to get his show name tomarrow at the barn. Sorry it has taken so long... I have been working summer camp at the barn and working. All of it is wearing me out!!!
