wow, i volunteered at a 4h show to get some more community service hours and guess what i saw? Another Paso Fino doing saddleseat! It was black, and very small, so it looked just like a little racking pony. It didnt move like a Paso, but was registered. That means there are now ATLEAST 3 Paso Fino's doing saddleseat! YAY!

Do Paso Finos ever go slow though? It seems like they move at eighty miles an hour without really getting anywhere. Lol, I love their gait!

hmm i dont believe ive ever seen a paso fino really move like in real life or a video or anything (except for emily's lovely action pictures) so i really cant add anything intelligent to this, but if anyone has any paso fino pics to share so i can get a better idea that would be much appreciated

WELL, the girl was showing in plantation pleasure...but this show obviously had no idea so im not sure if she was really allowed...they CAN canter so they could show in any SS class that had an open easygait section. But also, we are debating whether or not its basically the same as the rack..i guess you could show in racking classes? I just show in CP.

i think its the same as a rack just WAYY more square and the paso takes more shorter and choppier strides while the racking horse takes longer and smoother strides.
